Retro gaming

I recently turned an old computer into a retro gaming machine.

I loaded a PSX, NES, SNES, and N64 emulator on it.

My family and I were playing super mario bros 3. It was incredibly fun and frustrating.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Super Mario 3D Land

I sold my Super Street Fighter 3D Edition and picked up this game. I played a couple of levels on my trip to work. This feels like a hybrid between classic side scrolling Mario games and modern day 3D environment Mario games. The games art style is familiar to what you would see in Mario Galaxy and the 3D is implemented in such a smart manner.

GTA

I had a chance to play GTA 3 10th Year Anniversary Edition on my Android device today and i was amazed. Beyond that, i felt great nostalgia. I felt compelled to finish the only GTA game that I have yet to finish. Grand Theft Auto IV. It still looks incredibly stunning. I don't know what it was about IV that made me not finish but I will give it another shot.

Gears of war 3

This game looks incredibly amazing. I didn't think gears could look any better. Gameplay is also somehow smoother. It controls way better. Looking forward to playing this a lot more now.

Finished another game today

Finished the short Battlefield 3 campaign on the 360 today. I love the multiplayer on this and am currently a level 20 something. Since my Xbox Live went down I haven't been online. I liked the ending a lot in this.

Finished

Gears of War 2 is done. Enemies soak way too many bullets and it feels tedious at times. Overall great game. I don't know if I should jump straight into gears 3.

FINALS ARE OVER!!!!!!

Hello world. I just endured the last week of my semester. It was full of final exams and final papers. It is all in my rear-view mirror now. I managed to allow my gaming fascination coexist with my academic duties. I am proud to say that I locked up the following grades: A,A,B,B.

ANYWAY

1 month of gaming awaits. My Xbox Live is still down, otherwise I would be screaming at my television playing Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. I've been playing that offline and practicing combos but it just pales in comparison to what the multiplayer is actually like. I also sunk a couple of more hours into Skyrim. As much as I like that game, I was beginning to feel "dungeon fatigue." Which is why I am currently finishing Gears of War 2...yes 2. I think I am on the final level at the moment. That is all for now. I'll see where I end up in my huge backlog of games.

Deus Ex: Human revolution

Going back to this game after months of not playing it. I forgot how stealthy this game is for me. Going to have to re learn some of the mechanics. I want to beat it during my Thanksgiving break.

UPDATE

I didn't finish it during my Thanksgiving break. Attempt #2 during my winter break.

Can't escape Skyrim

I tried booting up Driver: San Francisco and it didn't work. I tried Sonic Generations and that didn't work. It's a sign to keep playing Skyrkm. I won't fight fate.

Skyrim....19 hours later

I am currently 19 hours into the game. This game is incredibly addictive. I cannot remember being genuinely interested in a single player game like this (maybe Fallout 3). I am at the point where i am overwhelmed with characters and stories. That's not a bad thing for me. I at least am aware of the main quest. I took a break from the main quest to level up with some side quests. I am currently level 17 (17 1/2). I am trying to level up my light armor after hearing how efficient it eventually becomes.
